Greetings Regine fans,
And sneaky visitors..
lol..

I wanna take this time to show some good manners
and give thanks to our guest- "Mdr"
(our DPA here.. As Ricky Low likes to say.)

Thank you for clarifying something that had some
of us really confused. The reason why Regine's new
album was being called "Reigne: Revised." And it was
because the CD packaging was changed. And how
was it changed? I went to the mall earlier to see for
myself what was the new look about it. I asked the nice
friendly Lady there to bring me the album. And then I
asked if there was a second one. I was lucky they had
one copy of the first batch still on their rack in the corner.

The first copies that came out last December was in
a long thick box type and it had some special stuff like
those fab/sexy pictures and the lyrics. This new batch
looks like just the CD alone but covered in the usual
protective plastic wrap.

The differences are obvious between the two albums
alright.

And a difference in price too. Here it was p350.00
for the first batch in a box. And the new no frills CD
goes for p250.00

The new batch sits easily anywhere in the store but
the old one tends to cover what is behind it. And kind
of bulky. Sadly thinking this could mean the end of
those neat creative packaging ideas Regine always
has. I still get amazed with the creative mark she left
on her landmark '1990' release.

And that's is why it was being called "Reigne: Revised"
on several of those foreign record bars music charts.

Thanks to Viva diva Mel for going where no fan been
before. The employees private coffee and rest area.
lol. just kidding..

WAIT. THERE'S MORE . .

Now I want to clarify some information I remember
that came out. That there was a 'Special Edition' CD
and Viva made 40,000 copies of them. Or just say
'platinum.' I'm guessing it had something extra or
something different about those CD's in some way.
Maybe that necklace? Anyone get one of those by
any chance? Send a picture of you with it on.
To my site, please. If that's ok with you other
webbers? That way it can be shared. 'ouch' heh.

The newspaper said that "Reigne":'Special Edition'
had gone platinum. Nothing was ever posted about
how many of the regular copies were selling then.

Viva Mel was kind enough to ask someone in the right
area of proper information about it. She was told that
Reigne did reach double-platinum. But that award was
not given yet. Viva Mel (Mdr) mentioned she would ask
about if it would(?)be in the future(?)

I'm close enough.. hehe..

For those who can't
get enough read on:

This is what I like to add to that information that
can't be comfirmed by I think sound right.. The
double-platinum is for sales of Regine's regular
edition. So if we put the special edition then
Regine's latest (some of you think its one of her
best)is pretty much confirmed triple-platinum.

That would be 120,000 copies sold altogether.

And that's not all..
Not to be disrespectful or anything so I hope
our nice guest(s) don't get me wrong.. but I
believe that information is accurate yet also old.

I think Regine's latest is already Quad-platinum.

But hey, I'm just happy to get some information
because frankly, waiting 8 months like this is just
not the way to go in getting good information to
Regine's concerned fans.

This was in the nick of time too. Good fan/webber
Lester was just about to start EDSA 4 without meh!
lol..

So I now concur with several good Regine fans out
there writing me and posting in Regine's Interactive
board that Viva Mel is being one heck of a super
trooper for Regine's mailing lists. Not only are
we getting a good beeline on Reg's upcoming movie
but we got some info regarding Regine's sales
tally that I wasn't able to get using a Oieje
board! lol! (Spirit of the glass thingy)

So thank you for posting that information, Mdr ..
And answering some of the questions fans thought
they were going to take with them to their graves.

And I think she gets my vote for the Regine fan
of the week. And for the weekend too. :-)
