Does anybody know where I could order good copies of old Tagalog movies (LVN, Sampaguita productions)? I've searched in virtually every online Filipino store and I couldn't find any. I am very interested in Lino Brocka movies (I heard a French producer bought all rights to Brocka's movies and that's why they're rarely shown or even sold to the public). I also like movies from the 50s, 60s and 70s starring Nora Aunor, Vilma Santos, Amalia Fuentes, Susan Roces, Lolita Rodriguez, and many more. The tragic death of Nida Blanca makes me want to see her movies as well.
I live in the Boston area, and if there are Filipinos living nearby who may have access to these movies, please contact me. I would appreciate all your help!
