I'd already decided on a text parser; the puzzle involving the Anti-Cartoonist Demonstration you don't encounter at one point wouldn't work otherwise.

But how will the player know to type, say, GET THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE if he can't see the Declaration of Independence because the Cartoonist hasn't drawn it?

(Come to think of it, if someone need to pick up something in the strip, the Cartoonist does generally get around to drawing it. So maybe I'm making too much of this.)
