Subject: Has anyone here played Nobilis?

If you're not familiar with it (and even if you are), Nobilis is a tabletop RPG in which you play people who have been elevated to a sort of demigodhood. Each Nobilis has a Domain, an aspect of reality (e.g. Anger, Wind, Cars, Fashion, Spheres, Money...) that they're responsible for and have some power over. Each group is called a Familia, and lives with (and under the command of) the Imperator who turned them into Nobilis.

For some reason, I can't help shake the sense that the Food Sentries are, in a way, like a Familia. The Power of Meat, the Power of Dairy, the Power of Grain, the Power of Fruits and Vegetables, the Power of Whatever Mr. Disease's Domain Was... with Triangle as some sort of confused, misguided Imperator who doesn't realize his true nature. He did, in a sense, create the world... and it was only after meeting Triangle that Mr. Disease became a Sentry... and he *is* the Chosen One, after all.
