Subject: Poly's Ace is a Freshmen named Olson

Tyler Fitch may be a senior and Poly's regular Friday night starter but the ace of the Mustang staff is Garrett Olson.

Today is Stockton, Olson pitched a complete game shutout, defeating the Tigers 4-0. To complement his complete game, Olson gave up 3 hits, struckout 8 and walked only 1. Outstanding!! Moreover, he's a true student athlete as his majoring in Aeronautical Engineering. Yikes, how does he handle such a heavy academic workload and perform so well on the field?

Also, kudos to Dennis LuDuc. This morning in Stockton he finshed what was left of yesterday's rain shortened game against UOP by pitching 3.2 innings, allowing 2 hits, 1 walk and striking out 4. The Stangs won 12-4 to move into 2nd place in conference.

Keep it going Larry Lee and company and you're going to surprise the entire Big West and make it to the NCAA regionals!
