The Tribune reported that the drinking was a violation of a team contract that the players signed before the season started. If that's the case, I wholeheartedly stand behind the decision to suspend.

I agree--if that's what they signed on to, they deserve their punishment. I'm just surprised to hear that there is such a policy in place since I KNOW that they've done that in the past. Perhaps it's new this year? I haven't read the article but perhaps underage drinking is the problem and the older ones were in accompaniment.
