The "A" game means no flaky turnovers...and make your freethrows! They painted that square behind the rim for a reason. You'll never miss a charity shot if you toss the ball underhanded (like Rick Barry) and hit that square. If you think you can make a higher percentage shooting your way, go ahead.

And to tonight's refs: How about treating this game like an NCAA playoff? Don't turn the game on ticky-tacky fouls. Let them play. Just because you couldn't qualify for a ACC, SEC or Big Ten game, don't tarnish the reputation of the Big West by calling questionable fouls. This is no longer the C.I.F. It's Div. I basketball. Call it that way!
