As an alumnus, I thought it was pretty embarrassing. But it doesn't really matter what I think--I'm just warning you from UCSB's past experiences (which, IMO, were milder and are pretty commonplace these days) that the TV people notice stuff and will blacklist Poly in a hurry if they hear it much more (assuming it isn't too late already).
