I'm pretty sure with todays technology, and attention on the part of the directors in the truck that a lot of what they don't want on the air is eliminated.

Well, they sure didn't catch "suck my dick...suck my dick" and other gems last night.

Case in point is that ucsb (your choice for basic core classes)has been spewing questionable material at the dome for years.

Nothing like what has been heard from Poly fans in recent years. The offending remarks were "bullshit" when the refs screwed up and perhaps an occassional "asshole" when an opposing player took a swing at a Gaucho, for instance.

As far as I know they (t.v.) keep coming back as long the product is marketable....don't they?

Broadcasts from the TDome are WAY down. Part of the reason is that the conference stinks now, but on the other hand the ADept has been warned in the past about conduct proper to TV (and that's just the BS and AH stuff).

I'm sure some of the raw material used by both schools are not as bad as other schools from which broadcasts are common place.

The two can't be compared as of late. Poly fans (at least when meeting UCSB--as opposed to the "six" Colin says usually show up) have been pretty vile. I'm hardly a prude and wouldn't blink an eye at "BS" or even them going after a player, but it's further in the gutter than that.

It sure is convenient to ride your fence and jump down on the high side each time it is appears that it is most popular position.

Huh? You'll have to explain that one. All I'm saying is that I've never heard any group chant some of the stuff at the level the Poly fans have been (when playing UCSB at least). I'd think as a Mustang supporter you'd be a little pissed that the students never show up and then do when the cameras come, only to embarrass the university with "UC suck me" and "suck my dick."
