It's the NCAA appearances that gets the Kristin Doughery's of the world to consider Marist, not the NIT. I think when you play the role of the giant killing, overachieving Middie perceptions are so important. Stumbling to an NIT bid is after starting 17-1 is just taking a step back. If people don't think that Marist can win an NCAA tournament game this year, then nobody else in the MAAC has any chance at all. Might as well be Marist and get the experience of the big time.
One other item about tonights game. Does anybody else think he shortened the bench just like the FF loss. No Kolosar or Stallings, very little Yarde. Anybody venture a guess why or if it makes any difference? Has he coached differently in these two games?
