Subject: MAAC tourney tickets (mistake on Marists part)?

I called recently and was told they are only selling tickets to the first game. At this point it looks like they are not offering the all session passes. I understand the mens team isn't likely to get far, but the women are the favorite to go to the championship. So, lets say the men lose first round, you are still getting 3 womens games with the all session pass. I am surprised Marist is not offering at least the oppurtunity for fans to purchase these all session passes as they did last year. Single game purchases end up much more if you want to go and support the team the whole weekend. Almost a slap in the face to the womens team or at us as fans thinking we will not support the women. However, if you want to get all session passes, I believe you can get them through the MAAC site, just not with the slight discount you usually would get purchasing them through your HOME team. Hope Marist reconsiders. If I am incorrect in any of this, I apologize, but this is the info I got from my phone call to the Marist ticket office. The women who answers the fun and gives the info is great by the way, has been there since at least the Smits years and answers all questions. I just think part of the atmosphere of the tournament is sitting in a MARIST section. Not sure if that can happen now with this policy this year.

Sounds like more of a smack in the face of the men's team and total disregard for the women's fans.

Hopefully the TUC offers sections for fans. If not, Marist has really let down their ardent fans this year.

I spoke to the Marist Ticket Office today as well. The MAAC changed the ticketing policy for what the schools are required to buy for the MAAC Basketball Championships. In the past the schools were required to purchase 50 All-Session passes. Now the MAAC requires schools to buy 175 tickets to the first men's game. Marist does not even have all-session passes this year.

Maybe your anger should be geared toward the MAAC and not Marist!

How can Marist sell tickets that they do not have and are not available?

What about all the good seats in the middle? That better not be reserved for Siena season ticket fans? I am now getting paranoid probably, but that BETTER not occur.
