you guys are hilarious. i think it is common sense, but i guess not.
the maac holds seats in good sections for all schools. at some point, the decision is made to 'release' those seats to the general public. how can you complain when you wait until the last minute to buy your tickets? then you wonder why the maac doesn't hold all of the seats until tip for each school when almost every maac school sends less than 200 fans to the tournament. the maac would lose out on a lot of money by not selling thousands of the best seats in hopes that the other maac schools have thousands of fans deciding to come last minute (within last 14 days???). history has shown that siena's fan base has to carry this tournament financially, so they are smart for selling the tickets to whoever will buy them (earlier the better).
i think they do the right thing in waiting until after the new year to release them though, this allows every school's fans have the chance to purchase good seats. but to complain because you called 14 days before the tournament and couldn't get center court seats is ridiculous.
as always, your bad luck (in this case, decision making) is siena and the maac's fault. take away siena and this tournament is played on-campus's in front of 2,300 fans. no way the league could lose the 100,000's of thousands of dollars every year to play in hsbc, ahy, etc. playing in albany at least every two years can put them in a situation to break even by making up the shortfall the year they are at the tuc.
