Yesterday was just an awful for Marist hoops. The Women took FF for granted and could not come back like they thought the could. Hope they learn a huge lesson from this. I know Brian won't let them forget.
The guys came out flat plain and simple. CC played better than a 1-7 team last night and Marist played like the team picked to finish 10th. CC covered RS like a blanket on a cold night.
The team that played last night was the team most of us expected to see when the season began.
We've had some pleasant surprises to this point in the season. Some disappointments too, last night & Columbia for example. The guys will continue to surprise and disappoint for the rest of the season.
The season has gone better than expected to date and some teams in the MAAC will be in for a surprise if they take Marist for granted.
Lets Go Red Foxes!!!

I hope Tim Murrray forgets ESPN's phone number for a while. Don't want them back they are bad luck. LOL

Might not have to worry about the men other than TW Cable. The MAAC PIG games aren't being televised by MSG this year.

Both looked like PIG teams yesterday.

Continue to be impressed by Mike Taylor. Did the best job of the bunch on Turner, who toasted every other defender Marist tried.

Fans should have gotten a refund.

Have no idea what the women were thinking about yesterday. Certainly wasn't basketball. They threw away two months of hard work recovering from the Oklahoma game. Very disinterested looking performance.

It's curious that Marist had only 9 players available, and yet they only used 8. Kolesar never got into the game, and in the PoJo, the ladies admitted that they were fatigued at the end of the game, maybe contributing to some missed shots. If CK had played 8 or 10 minutes, maybe the legs on a couple of the starters might have been a little fresher. I'm just sayin'.

Quick turnaround to St. Peter,s, a court, like Loyola, at which Marist has had some head scratching performances. Gonna be an interesting Sunday for both the Women and Men's teams.
