Ok, hero for this post is overdone. But I am talking about Joe Torre. Its hard when you see someone who did so much so right turn himself into a street walker to sell a book. He needs to understand he and the Yankees helped each other. He was considered a loser in most circles until he came here. And vice versa, his attitude and the way he handled NY was magnificent. He earned everything he got here. However he has now embarrassed himself and his Yankee legacy with this book. Shame on him, he has some splaining to do.

and immediately got the same feelings. Then I saw the review was done by two writers from the NY Post. Want to read it for myself first, but I'm starting from just about the same place you are with this.

No need to take shots at ARod and the management. Their reputation is such that everyone gives you the benefit of the doubt if you clash with them. Just write a nice baseball book, make a bundle and come out on top by default.
