They are a very good home team and a team that struggles to win on the road. Most of us thought they would even look decent this year. They have made great strides. 7 wins in the MAAC this year would be a great job by the staff and players. They are in every MAAC game this year basically and took the undefeated Saints to the brink. They also beat the second ranked team in the confernce at home. They also beat a good Iona team at home. Schneider is not a superstar, he just plays his heart out. Maybe he was covered well by the other team. I would rather someone take the shot who might be open rather than have Schneider force shots.

Maybe Ryan was totally exhausted, physically & emotionally during OT against Siena. What he played about 47 minutes.
Against Loyola the Hound D was focused to stop him and they did. The only other weapon we have is DD and he disappears sometimes, especially when the game is close or we're behind. It's easy for a D to focus on one guy.
In today's Po Jo article Coach Martin suggests that RS is running on empty; says "he's exhausted".
Ryan is the best we have and plays almost the entire game. He will be the focus of almost every team we play the rest of the year.
And just think the former coach only played him in short spurts.
To go from a bench player to first team all MAAC would be a great way to end his Marist career.

If you watched him play last year you would have known why the former coach didn't play him much as well why he transferred from Vermont because he didn't get much time. Prior to this year, he hadn't played very well.
