Don't look now, but Brady is doing a great job with James Madison so far as they have started off the season with a 10-6 record and just came off beating Old Dominion in their own house. Looks like Wells and Semenov have really stepped up and are regular rotation players. Another freshman point guard, Devon Moore is one of the top freshmen in the conference (He signed with JMU after Brady left however). Looks like he may not be in the CAA for too long either.

Forget records - our coach has accompished so much more then Brady has this year. Brady had a number of starters coming back at JMU and kids that he had a year to recruit with all of Marist's recruiting dollars - Martin came in and brought in the possible ROY in Hall - and I'd put my money that by next year Martin's boys will be better then Brady's

I saw some of last night's game. Wells, Moore and Semenov are nice players. I like Martin's demeanor. He's going to do big things...

Brady a better game coach!? Now I cant say for certain if Martin is a good game coach because we haven't seen him enough, but I wouldn't consider Brady to be a good game coach at all. He's a fine teacher of basketball (especially shooting) but whenever his gameplans broke down he would resort to chucking threes (anyone remember Marist's lose to Rider in the tournament last year - 41 3PT shots! 41!).
