The kid is playing well in N.C. Great shooter..

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound guard has been as good as advertised since arriving at Hampstead in the summer following his junior season that saw him earn Mr. Vermont honors.

Very hopeful sign for his ability to contribute right away.

This bodes very well. They get tons of open looks with Hall and Devezin. Next year the shots will fall from all five starters. Oldfox, what brought up the Gavin/Hall comparison? I think Hall will even be better next year. The second year is huge for improvement. He will be a MAAC star. He's Devezin with the ability to shoot. He can finish with either hand. He's just getting started. Believe it or not, I think Alexis can play point. How's that for a 6'5 guy?? About Gavin.. Deadeye shooter but disappointed with handle. Hey, Kaylen with another good game eh??

the kid says Hall isn't as good as Jay. That made me think about the good and the bad we save from Jay and I think Hall will be a more useful player in the long run. Except for scoring, he is light years ahead of Gavin. Jay could get to the rim, but usually it was without the ball cause his handle was so bad. If Hall can develop half the outside shot Jay had Marist has one heck of a guard to go with DD, Kaba, Rusin, DW and Prescott next year.

I don't know much about Alexis but he has a great basketball pedigree, and the staff really wanted him.

KG and RS are truly Renaissance men this year. Who would have though that RS would develop into one of the top players in the MAAC and KG is a terror on defense and is really on the verge of forcing defenses to play him on the perimeter. Manhattan left him to roam and he was 3 for 3 from the behind the arc.

If they can get anything, and I mean anything, from the post players, they can make a run at 6th place. Bauer and Alex did nothing at either end of the court (other than miss rebounds and chippies) last night.

According to the PoJo they are in for a rough practice today. I expect them to battle the Purps to the end tomorrow.
