We got a short note from the London airport yesterday. All's well, she said. By now she must be in India, with the adventure well under way. She didn't take her laptop, and I/m sure internet cafes are not very frequent where she will be,. So we may not hear anything for some time, if at all. A short (one-minute) phone call from Donna informed us that they haven't been able to find an internet connection since they left Heathrow airport in London, so she finally decided to call instead. She was short on time, as they were about to get on a bus. It seems the bus she was about to get on is taking them to Roopangarh Fort, which is where they'll meet their horses. When they leave there they'll be on horseback.   Built in1648 AD, the town and fort of Roopangarh was constructed by Maharaja Roop Singh of Kishangarh for defence purpose. Over the years, the many additions, which have been made to the original nine turreted fort, can still be seen in the structure.
