Subject: Update on Helen

Mom had another surgery on Thursday. There was a small area that had not healed so they did a bone graft to make it stronger. Before that, she was doing wonderfully - getting up and down and walking with her walker. In a couple of weeks expect her to be back up and at em! i think she will go home Tue or Wed. will let you know. With this surgery the doc expects the leg to hold 100% weight and be much safer.

Mom's still in a rehab - this one is nicer and real close to her house. She won't be able to put any weight on her leg until after her dr visit on the 10th. She is getting around in her wheelchair and having therapy every day. We expect this recovery to be quick (NT) -- Judy, Thu, Mar 29 2007, 8:14:28

Won't know anything until the Dr appt on the 10th. We expect that she will be able to do some walking then and probably go home. We have a caregiver that will work with her as she needs help. (NT) -- judy, Mon, Apr 02 2007, 11:19:04
