Your post wasn't about Hawthorn's "hypocrisy" - that was just the excuse for you to slag Hawthorn in general.

Which is fine - this is a footy message board after all - but it's a bit rich for you to use this incident given Sydney's long history of getting big name players off serious charges for Finals matches (Goodes)- and if the AFL doesn't play ball you simply take them to court (Dunkley).

Besides, if you can't see the difference between Buddy's bump on Cousins, and Lloyd's on Sewell - considering the history Lloyd has with Hawthorn (my original subject remember?), and understand the context behind Hawthorn's emotional and OTT reation, then you're either a liar or a fucking idiot.


As for "getting lucky". A 17-5 season, clear 2nd after home and away season, and a Finals campaign where Hawthorn beat three sides they lost to in the H&A by an average winning margin of 8 goals...
