So you admit there is nothing in it for anyone but the "right" people? There's your problem right there. Unless you're an inner suburban wanker that is pig ignorant of anything that happens east of Box Hill, west of Mooney Ponds or north of Preston, there is nothing in the Age for you.
Talk about insular and backward.

Let me spell it out for you.

* It tacks the sports section on the back of the business section, treating it as an afterthought, because management clearly doesn't get it.
* It attaches the Drive section to the back of the real estate section because it doesn't realise that its readers want to be entertained and not just informed on motoring matters. Quite possibly never heard of Top Gear.
* It has two cartoonists who can't draw and who have the exact same opinion on everything. And they aren't funny or even witty. By all means have one, but why the f&ck would you pay Petty AND Tandberg. Fire one and spend the money on someone decent please, like Zanetti.
* It is supposed to be a business and yet it consistently insults more than half of its potential audience. That sounds like the stupidest business model ever.
* It has a column called PostCode 3000. There are 5 million people in this state and they have a column that is irrelevent to 4.5 million of them???
* It loses money every day and is subsidised by regional papers.
