Perhaps they should simply have Miss Pembroke and Miss Pembroke's Outstanding Teen Pageant. That way the UNC part is left out of it. If UNCP wants to provide an in-kind scholarship to the Miss contestant then they can. If UNCP wants to donate a location, they can. Have you ever been to a UNC-P pageant? The whole student body is invited . I think admission is free for them. ..and if they can't hold a teen pageant right aling with the Big Miss pageant because they can't have non-students up there, then why are they allowed to have the teen and princess queens entertain. This whole thing is hog wash ...... they have a deal and this is what you see. Too bad for the other franchises. I guess if UNC-CH and UNC Charlotte and NC State, etc. etc. etc. were to come into the system, would they be allowed to appoint , as well ? No name 15:09:30 10/29/09 Thu
