Subject: We would like to invite you to the Miss Greater Sampson County and Miss Greater Sampson County Outstanding Teen pageants on Sunday, November 1 at 4 pm. The pageant will be held at Hobbton High School (located on Hwy 701 between Clinton and Newton Grove. The cost is $10 and Lane Ragsdale will be the Master of Ceremonies. The Miss contestants are Ashley Lambert, Katie Mills, Gillian Farroll and Erika Taylor and the OT contestants are Raven Chavez, Samantha Pope, Majesta Young and Grace Ann Carroll. I thought Katherine looked great. If I had to pick out possible things that hurt her in Top 5, it would have been that she initially puts her feet up on the stool vs crossing her legs. And not fully answering the question as to what a movie of her life would be called. You have to pick something. I believe Kat held her own and thought her placement was fair. I have to say I thought most of the fitness modeling was more 'glitz' than MAOT which I found disappointing. I think most of our T10 and T5 would fair well in this competition.
