Subject: All My Boardies, Episode 2x11: Goodbye Tonight

Special Guest Star TomSmeagol. Guest Starring Dd, Gemma, Peter Wiggin, DizzyD, with Simon, and Toothy.

Scene opens on Wolfshrub and SeaBoy. She's lying back down on the bed, the bump clearly visible. SeaBoy is pacing, thinking of what to do next. He comments that TomSmeagol is going to try his hardest to keep this baby, and them, here. Wolfshrub says that she can't stay here, she just can't. He stops pacing, and looks at her. He asks her what she'd do if they got out. She says she'd probably go home, but SeaBoy shakes his head, saying that he meant what will she do about the baby. Wolfshrub freezes, unsure of how to answer. Eventually, she says that she wanted to keep it before, no reason why they can't keep this one too. SeaBoy comes to sit next to her on the bed, and he takes her hand in his. He says that he'll be with her, whatever decision she makes. She smiles, and says that that means a lot. Just then, TomSmeagol enters the room. He tells SeaBoy to step away from the expectant mother, and SeaBoy stands, defiant. TomSmeagol smiles, then simply knocks him across the room. He hits the wall, head first, and crumples to the floor, unconcious and bleeding. Wolfshrub squeals, and cowers up into the corner of the room. TomSmeagol advances towards her, brandishing a scalpol. He smiles maniacally down at her, saying that it's time the baby was born.

In an interview room in the FBI office, Agent Wiggin is briefing Salty on her part in the mission. She is to meet with Toothy, and lever for Gemma's release. As she's doing that, she is to try and get him talking about other jobs he's pulled recently - the FBI want it all. Salty asks what else they suspect Toothy of, and Wiggin reels off a list of offences, including the attempted hostile takeover of The Boards; murder, and framing an innocent; extortion, and then Wiggin asks if he needs to go on. Salty shakes her head. Wiggin puts his papers down, and says that he understands she and Toothy have known each other a long while. Salty nods, and then clarifies that they used to work together, but that she hadn't seen him for a good ten years before he turned up at the Boards. Wiggin asks what line of work they were in, and Salty matter-of-factly states that they were both lackeys for the Directors. Wiggin pauses, and asks if she isn't afraid he'll use that knowledge to arrest her, and Salty replies that he has no proof of what she just told him - he hasn't even been taping this briefing. Wiggin raises an eyebrow, asking her how she can be sure that he isn't. Salty stares back at him, cocking her head slightly.

Next door, Gemma is being briefed by Agent DizzyD, who tells her what Wiggin just told Salty. Gemma asks what will happen to her during all of this, and DizzyD says that they'll transfer her to a safe house across town - they can't afford for her to go free, if Toothy sees her than he'll know that it's all a ruse. Gemma nods, and says that it all sounds so well-planned. DizzyD smiles, and says that the FBI have had their eye on Toothy for a long time now. Just then, there's a knock at the door, and Agent Wiggin brings Salty into the room. She sits next to Gemma, and they share a quick hug. DizzyD pulls out a cellphone from her pocket, and hands it to Salty. She tells her to make the call. Salty looks at the phone for a second, then at Gemma, then types in the number. Pressing "dial", she holds the phone up to her ear. After a few moments, Toothy picks up.

Across town, Toothy is holding both Simon and AngelX at gunpoint. He answers his phone, and is surprised to hear Salty's voice on the other end. Simon squeezes AngelX's hand, and they share a quick look. They hear Toothy making arrangements to meet with Salty, and then he hangs up. He comes back to sitting right in front of them, sitting on a chair. He holds the gun in his hand, and asks them if they know why they're here. Neither answer. Toothy smiles, and leans back in his chair, tossing the gun from hand to hand. Suddenly, he stops, and holds it at AngelX's head. Then he asks Simon if he knows why they're here. Simon gulps, and asks if it has anything to do with Toothy missing "American Idol" last week. Toothy laughs, then whacks him round the head with the butt of the gun. A swelling forms, which begins to bleed. Simon lies back in the couch, clutching his head with one hand. Toothy asks him again, if he knows why they're here. AngelX looks over at Simon, and then says that it's because they have enough evidence to screw him over a billion times over. Toothy raises an eyebrow, and comments that AngelX is spunky. He catches Simon's eye, and says he can see why he fell for her. Simon asks how Toothy knows that, and he smirks, saying that he has eyes everywhere. Simon of all people should know that. He stands up, and walks around the back of the couch, still holding the gun. He leans in between them, and says that they really need to talk about this betrayal. AngelX spits that she was never in Toothy's pocket, she's not his lackey or his co-worker. Toothy says that he knows that, and suddenly, he stands back, and shoots Simon in the back of the head twice. AngelX screams, and Simon's body falls forward with the force of the gunshots. It falls off the couch, onto the floor, a pool of blood slowly forming outwards. AngelX begins to weep, leaning away from the body - and Toothy. For his part, Toothy simply wipes the barrel of the gun with a doily, and looks down at Simon's body. He says that AngelX wasn't the problem - Simon was.

Back at TomSmeagol's, Wolfshrub is laying outstretched on the bed, asleep, her top pulled right up. Tom is rubbing some anaesthetic on her belly. When he stops, he reaches, and picks up the scalpol. Straddling her legs, he goes to cut into her belly, when suddenly he is whacked round the head, and off the bed, with a metallic tray. As he falls to the floor, dropping the scalpol, we see SeaBoy, standing up, dried blood over one side of his face, holding a tray. He looks down at Tom, and tells him not to bother getting up. Tom laughs, stands up anyway, and just as SeaBoy lunges at him with the tray again, Tom easily deflects him to the side with his arm, knocking him to the ground. SeaBoy stands up again, and stares at him. He asks him why he's doing this, all of this. Tom states that it was in his best interests. SeaBoy asks if that includes the strength upgrade. Tom laughs, and says that that was especially so. SeaBoy rushes him again, and Tom steps to the side, watching as SeaBoy flies into the bed. He laughs, and then realises what SeaBoy has in his hands now - the scalpol. Tom stops laughing, and says that it will take more than a blade to kill him. SeaBoy throws it, and it embeds itself into his torso. Before Tom can pull it out, SeaBoy tackles him to the ground, slamming the blade in further, and twisting it for good measure. Tom's body stiffens, arching upwards, and he begins to gurgle, before crashing back down to the floor, not moving. SeaBoy lies watching him for a moment, then stands up unsteadily. He goes to the bed, pulls Wolfshrub up and puts one of her arms round his shoulders, and walks out, stepping over Tom's body.

Outside Dd's house, ABM, Amber and LB pull up in his car. They get out of the car, and walk up to the big main gates. Amber comments that this is it, but as all of the lights are off, she doesn't think anybody's home. LB points out that they could just be round the back of the house, and that they definetly need to get in there. Amber says that that is easier said than done, the gate is controlled from the inside - they have to be buzzed in. ABM starts to walk off, saying he'll go look round the side, see if he can't climb over or something. As he goes away, LB turns to Amber, asking if they should do the same round the other side. Just then, the gates buzz open. The two women pause, looking at the gates. Amber says that this doesn't bode well, but LB says at least it means somebody's home. They contemplate waiting for ABM to come back, but up at the house, they see the front door opening. Amber says that they don't have a choice, and they walk up the driveway. Coming down from the house, Dd meets them halfway up the driveway. She says that its nice to see Amber back so soon, and asks who her friend is. LB pushes infront of Amber, and says that they want to take Morgain home. Dd smiles, and says that that simply isn't possible. Morgain wants to stay. LB says that she'd rather hear it for herself. Dd says that they're welcome to come in - but she can't guarantee that they'll leave. Suddenly, Amber grabs Dd by the collars, and, angry, asks her what she's done to Morgain. Dd laughs, and says that she won't be telling them anytime soon. Just then, Dd is smashed on the head with a lead pipe, and she falls unconcious, limp in Amber's hands. Behind them, stands ABM, holding the pipe. As Amber drops Dd to the floor, ABM looks down at her, saying that they won't bother asking her then. He throws the piping to the ground, and tells them to follow him into the house.

At the FBI office, Gemma and Salty are being escorted by Agents Wiggin and DizzyD to the front desk. When there, Wiggin asks if Salty will be OK. She says that she'll be fine, she'll just wait at Gemma's until Toothy arrives. He tells her that he and Agent DizzyD will be nearby, and she just has to keep the wire switched on throughout. Salty nods, and says that this isn't the first time she's done this, and walks out. Gemma watches her leave, and wonders when Salty ever found the time to be a mole for the FBI. DizzyD says that she could go check their records, but Gemma quickly tells her not to worry, she'll just ask Salty when all this is over. Gemma then turns to the agents, and asks if she can call somebody before leaving. DizzyD says that they'd prefer her not to, but Wiggin asks her who it is she plans to call. Gemma wants to call AngelX - Wiggin relents, handing Gemma his cellphone. As she dials the number and calls, DizzyD asks Wiggin what he's doing. He replies that there's no harm in her calling AngelX, seeing as she owns The Boards. Gemma, meanwhile, is still waiting for someone to pick up - she eventually gets put through to the answering machine.

In AngelX's office, the camera closes in on the phone. Gemma is leaving a message, informing AngelX about what's happening, and what Salty is up to. She tells AngelX not to worry, that she thinks they might be solving the Toothy problem right now, then she hangs up. A gloved hand reaches for the delete button on the answering machine, and a robotic voice informs us that the message has been deleted. The mystery person then picks up the phone, and dials a number.

At Simon's apartment, Toothy's phone rings. He lets it ring, as he continues talking to AngelX. He says that he'll be keeping a close eye on her, making sure that none of this information reaches the light of day. Otherwise... here, Toothy pretends to shoot the gun at AngelX, who flinches, dried tears on her face. He tells her that she's free to go, but not for 10 minutes after he's gone. If she leaves before then, then a sniper he's had stationed outside the hotel will shoot her down. Toothy's phone stops ringing, and he goes to walk out the door - then turns back to AngelX. He asks her what she saw in Simon, in such a treacherous bastard. AngelX looks up at him, and says that Simon wasn't the bastard. Toothy smirks, and says that compliments will get her everywhere. He takes out his phone, and notes that the person ringing didn't leave a message. He bids AngelX a good evening, then leaves. A few moments after he's gone, AngelX crouches down on the floor, and pulls Simon's body into hers. She cradles it, weeping.

Over at the office complex, Stormy walks down the main corridor, towards the front desk. She calls out for Phaedra, but there's nobody there. Just then, Dandy pops up behind her. Stormy asks what she's doing, creeping up on people, and Dandy says that she wasn't. She just came to inform Stormy that she's heading out for a while. She asks what Stormy's doing, creeping around the place like that, and Stormy replies that she's just going out too. Dandy snarks that she's got some more people to ruin. Stormy leans in closer to Dandy, and they're barely an inch apart. Seething, she tells Dandy that she deserves to be dead by now, but through some strange occurence, AngelX is sitting on the very info that could send Dandy away forever. Dandy asks Stormy why she just doesn't send the photos, and Stormy points out that she doesn't have any of it - AngelX has it all. After a moment, Dandy smiles, and licks Stormy's lips. Stormy repulses in disgust, and Dandy winks at her, before walking out. Stormy watches her go, before grabbing a set of car keys from behind the desk, and walking out too.

At Dd's house, ABM is searching one end of a corridor, frantically tearing open doors and shouting out for Morgain. LB appears, and says that she isn't in any of the ground floor rooms. At the end of the corridor, ABM turns, and says that she isn't here either. They hope that Amber's having more luck on the second floor, and they both head up to help her. He asks her if she called the police, and she replies that she did.

Upstairs, a door is thrown open, and Amber calls out for Morgain. She gets no reply, and is about to move on, when she hears a giggling. She calls out Morgain's name again, and the giggling continues. Entering the room, she switches on the light - and sees Morgain, sitting up, chained to the bed. She stops giggling, looks over at Amber, and tells her that mummy told her to be quiet. She starts laughing again, and Amber rushes over, hugging her. Tears in her eyes, she apologises for leaving her alone, and then Morgain says that she has really pretty eyes - and can she touch them? Giving her an odd look, Amber desperately looks around for something to unlock the handcuffs with. Just then, ABM and LB run into the room, surprised to see Morgain in such a state. She welcomes them to her palace, and asks ABM if he'd like a concubine. LB asks what the matter is, and Amber gestures at the track mark on her arm, and the tourniquet still tied to it. She says that she thinks Dd injected her with something, possibly heroin. Morgain laughs again, saying that Amber has won the one-million dollars. ABM says that they need to get her out of here, and to a hospital - when behind them, Dd pops up, holding a gun at them. She tells them that Morgain isn't going anywhere, and now, neither are they. They stand frozen for a moment, when all of a sudden, two policemen come up the stairs, pointing their guns at Dd. They tell her to drop her weapon.

Just as Gemma is leaving the FBI office with Agent DizzyD, Dandy drives up in her car. As she gets out, she asks Gemma what she's doing here. Gemma says that she can't really say, but that Dandy needn't worry about her. Dandy asks if she's sure, and Gemma nods, saying that it'll be OK. DizzyD opens a car door for Gemma, who steps inside, as Dandy heads into the building, carrying an A4 envelope. She reaches the front desk, and asks for Agent Wiggin. He's just walking by as he hears his name, and taps Dandy on the shoulder. He asks her what she's doing here, and she hands him the envelope. She tells him that it didn't come from her, thats her only stipulation. Wiggin nods, and Dandy walks out. He looks over at the desk clerk, puzzled, and asks if Dandy told her what it was about. The clerk shrugs, and walks away, answering a ringing phone in the background. Wiggin opens the envelope, and pulls out the contents. One of the photos drops onto the floor, and he picks it up - it's Amber going into the professor's house. He flicks through the photos, and sees one of the dead professor, and her dead husband. His eyes widen, and he calls for the clerk to get headquarters on the phone.

In Gemma's restaurant, Salty sits at a table, tapping her fingers on the desk. She whistles to herself, then hears a voice over her earpiece - it's DizzyD. She asks if everything's OK so far, and Salty says that Toothy hasn't shown up yet. DizzyD says that she's going to keep radio silence from now on, but should Salty need her assistance, to scratch her left ear. Salty asks if she's got surveillance equipment too, and DizzyD says that they installed some cameras in the restaurant earlier, after arresting Gemma. DizzyD wishes Salty luck, then stops talking. Salty looks around, when suddenly she hears a noise coming from the back room. She looks up, and sees Toothy walking out onto the main floor. She stands, and greets "the duplicitous bitch". Toothy mock-flinches, saying that Salty's not exactly helping her cause right now. He takes a seat opposite her, and asks how Gemma's doing. Salty, poker face on, says that Gemma's in a holding cell with the FBI. How does he think she's feeling? He smiles, and says that for what it's worth, he's sorry it worked out this way. But the Directors have a vested interest in this business, and they couldn't let it go. Salty says that she wants him to withdraw the charges, have them free Gemma. She says he can have his money back, double in fact. Toothy leans forward, and says that he doesn't want the money. Salty smiles herself, and says that he doesn't have any choice. She asks him if he remembers Tokyo, and Toothy lets slip a laugh, saying that he remembers parts of it. Salty asks him if he remembers the part where she skewered Ling Yu with a straw. Toothy nods, saying that was impressive, even by his standards. Salty leans back, and nonchalantly holds up a straw, raising an eyebrow.

Over at Dd's, ABM and LB are sitting on the border of the driveway, watching the various police and paramedics mill around. They see Dd being escorted out of the house by two officers, in handcuffs. They stand, and watch as she's paraded past them into a cop car. She stares back at them, and tells them that she'll get them back for this, and that they probably shouldn't stick around too long. LB flips her off, before she's put in the car and the door closes. They turn back to the house, and see Amber with Morgain, walking out of the door, accompanied by a paramedic, and taken to an ambulance. Morgain is loaded up into the ambulance, and the doors close. ABM and LB walk over to Amber, and the three of them watch as the ambulance drives off. They ask Amber if everything's going to be OK, and she nods. She says that the paramedic told her that because it looked like this was Morgain's first exposure to heroin, it won't be too hard to get her off it. She then turns to ABM, and collapses into him, in tears. She cries that she shouldn't have left Morgain alone, if she had stayed then this wouldn't have happened. ABM hugs her, and tells her its not her fault. Just then, an officer comes up to them, and asks if they can come down the station, provide statements. LB nods, and walks off, followed by ABM and Amber, holding each other as they walk towards a cop car.

Outside the restaurant, across the road, a car pulls up. The camera focuses on the steering wheel, and the gloved hands - same as before - driving the car. The hands take a cellphone off the dashboard, and press one of the speed-dial buttons.

Inside, Toothy's phone rings again. He gets up, and excuses himself from the table to answer it. As he walks away, Salty sits back, fold her arms in frustration. Toothy, meanwhile, asks the caller if they're sure of this. He glances over at Salty, who is looking down at the straw in her hands. He thanks the caller for the information, and tells them to hold their position. He hangs up, and sits back down at the table. Salty looks at him, and he jokes that double-glazing salesmen can find you anywhere. She asks him if he's considered her offer, and Toothy asks which one she means - the money, or the straw. Salty says that she'd like it to be the straw, but she'd settle for him taking the money. Toothy stands, and says that he won't be taking either. Salty stands too, and tells him that he doesn't have a choice. He says that he does - he can choose to leave now, or stay and get arrested. Salty tries to hide her surprise, but Toothy says that she should've known better than to try and play him. He reminds her that she wasn't the only one who sharpened their skills in Tokyo. Absent-mindedly, Salty scrathes her left ear, as she tells Toothy that he should've learned from Tokyo never to cross her. Toothy smiles, and says he'll remember that now. Just then, DizzyD runs in from the back, pointing a gun at Toothy. She tells him not to move, and that she's placing him under arrest. Toothy smiles, and makes a dash at her, but before DizzyD shoots, Salty tackles him to the floor. DizzyD runs over, and points the gun at Toothy, laying on the floor, as Salty rolls off him and stands up. He looks up at them, sighing.

Outside, the person in the car watches all this happening, then starts the engine, and drives off. As the person drives away, the camera pulls up to reveal who the person is - it's Stormy.

Down in TomSmeagol's lair, SeaBoy is running down a corridor, with Wolfshrub still draped around his shoulders. He looks confused, and says to himself that he can't be back here. Wolfshrub suddenly begins to stir, and he stops, laying her down, propped up against a wall. He crouches down, and helps her wake up. When she does, she instinctively draws back, but then notices that TomSmeagol isn't anywhere around. She looks up at SeaBoy, and asks what's happening. He says that he stabbed Tom, and he's trying to get them out of there - but, for some reason, these basement tunnels are like a maze. He's been stuck running around, looking for the exit, for over an hour now. He asks Wolfshrub if she can stand up, and she says she thinks so. He stands, and offers her his hand. Just as she takes it, a shot fires down the corridor, and they duck, watching as the bullet hits the wall. They look in the direction where the bullet came from, and see TomSmeagol standing there, pointing a gun at them, and with a blood-stain on his shirt. SeaBoy looks incredulous, and TomSmeagol smirks, asking him if he really thought a lousy stab wound could stop him. He fires again, and this time the two of them start running, Wolfshrub cradling her belly. As they round a corner, they hear another shot at them. SeaBoy is counting the shots, whispering that that's 3. Suddenly, Wolfshrub falls to the floor, crying out. SeaBoy stops, and runs back to her. He looks up, and sees TomSmeagol stalking up to them. He asks Wolfshrub what the matter is, and she says that she's going into labour. SeaBoy says that she can't be, just as TomSmeagol comes up them. He points the gun at SeaBoy, and tells him to move away. SeaBoy doesn't, and then Wolfshrub doubles over in pain, from a contraption - accidentally knocking TomSmeagol off his feet. SeaBoy sees his chance, and coaxes Wolfshrub up off the floor. Draping her round his shoulders again, they limp round another corner - and see the exit. SeaBoy tells her that its only a few more yards, and they just reach the door when TomSmeagol rounds the corner too. He fires, and the shot goes right into SeaBoy's back. His body tenses, and falls into the door, knocking it open. Wolfshrub screams, and looks back at TomSmeagol, coming towards her. In slow motion, she walks out of the door, turns back, and closes it on TomSmeagol's foot. Leaning on it, she collapses to the floor, and turns to look in front of her - a bright white light engulfs the screen.

A pair of eyes flash open, and the camera quickly pulls back to reveal Wolfshrub, lying in bed. She urgently looks around, and notices that SeaBoy is laying on the bed, curled up next to her. She looks around frantically, and suddenly SeaBoy jolts awake. He looks up, and his face lights up when he sees Wolfshrub is awake. He begins to cry, as he tells a frightened Wolfshrub that he's so glad she's awake. So glad that she's finally awake.
