Subject: ANGEL season 6?

i heard rumors that NBC may be picking up ANGEL..........if DAVID BOREANEZ decides to be on board. anyone know any truth to those rumors?

But no one was able to confirm it and there's been no word from NBC, and they've already announced a fall schedule. If they're looking at a mid-year replacement next year, it'll be tough to pull the cast back together.

Not rainin' on the parade, that's just what I know of it. I suspect they'd have to make a very attractive offer to DB because he's ready to move on with his career.

I'd love it, of course, but I also respect that the actors want to stretch their wings with new projects.

got to see the finale and DAMN. This has to be the single best thing I've watched on TV this year. One highlight is that I finally saw an episode where I LIKED Connor. There's only so much you can deal with teen and post teen whining and melodrama. If he's brought back and continues to be a character who keeps growing and maturing and developing a personality I'd say he'd be a great addition to Team Angel. I'd never say he could replace my dog Wes. He, Fred and Loren were my favorites. I just synced with theh tragedy of his character. Doubt there's ever been one as lost as he was who still was interesting and made you roote for him. Redemption is always good character development so long as it doesn't become a soap opera like it did in the Xmen Clarement days.I did like how Whedon made you think he was going for a reminder of the Buffy episode where Giles sacraficed himself to make Willow swallow a magic mickey. I still don't like Elyria, and I'd like to meet the straight man who met Amy Acker and didn't fall in love with her. And what an ending and what a great opener if seaosn six ever does come. DON'T route for it to be picked up by NBC or Sci-Fi. Look at how they flushed Sliders down the toilet and watch how they're going to do the same with SG1. The best bet for this show is to go back to the beginning, to return to WB and let Whedon have total control. If UPN has any brains they will kiss whatever appendage Whedon dangles at them. They don't have Star Trek any more and Buffy is gone. What they're pining everything on Gilmore Girls and Girlfriends?
And was I the only one expecting Buffy to pop in at the last second to join in?? Angel was fresh and original in a quagmire of reality tv and chick power shows. Can anyone find some footage of a network executive sleeping with goats or selling crack to third graders so we can get this show back? And where's my Angel puppet damnit?????
