Subject: Part 3 - Mini-Spike & Voodoo Gunn (with Vespa goodness!)


The guys spend some time just hanging around the shelf with the Sideshow Spike and Angel dolls and the old 9" Angel doll.

Sideshow Spike: "I'm bored."

Sideshow Angel: "You know, I never told you how much I enjoyed riding on the back of that Vespa in Italy. You did a good job of handling that."

Mini-Spike: "Aha! I have an idea! C'mon, Gunn, we're headed for the mall!"



Voodoo Gunn: "So, why did we have to drive an hour to a mall in another county? We have plenty right near us."

Mini-Spike: "They didn't have what we're after. Besides, this is a really great mall. It's got 57 movie screens, a comedy club, some nice restaurants..."

Voodoo Gunn: "You can't fool me, you're just here to play video games at Gameworks."

Mini-Spike: "What! I'm shocked, shocked I say. When the Dave & Buster's arcade is much closer to where we parked, and has really nice pool tables..."



Annoying Automated Door: "*Blingg!* You are now entering Entry Six into Neighborhood Six!"

Voodoo Gunn: "So, where are we going in here? Spike? Where'd you go?"

Annoying Automated Door: "*Blingg!* You are now entering Entry Six into GAAAHHHHH!!!... GUH."

Voodoo Gunn: "Spike? Oh, there you are. Where'd you go?"

Mini-Spike: "Just had to take care of a little something."

Annoying Automated Door: "guhhhh... *cough*"

* * * * * * * *

Success! The cunning plastic vampire successfully tracked, stalked, and leapt on his two-wheeled prey and paid for it with a credit card.

Mini-Spike: "Veni, Vidi, Visa, Vespa."



Voodoo Gunn: "So, now what do you want to do? Wanna grab something from the food court?"

Mini-Spike: "Nah, don't really fancy any of that crap. Let's check out that Rainforest Cafe restaurant we passed on the way in."

* * * * * * * *

Voodoo Gunn: "Hey, this IS a nice place! It's like dining in the middle of a rainforest!"

Mini-Spike: "Yeah, just your typical rainforest with a huge shiny golden guy holding a neon globe."

Voodoo Gunn: "Hmm, he looks like a huge, well-lit Emmy award."

Mini-Spike: "**sigh** Emmy. You'd think they would've given us one or two."

Voodoo Gunn: "**sigh**"

Mini-Spike: "**sigh**"



Mini-Spike: "Um, why is there a nine-fingered robot gorilla at our table?"



The little Sock Buttmonkey greets the larger primate

Sock Buttmonkey: "Eep?"

Robo-Gorilla "Ook! Ook!"



Mini-Spike: "Well, now that you're friends and all, could you ask Magilla here to stop playing with the leaves and look our way?"

Sock Buttmonkey: "EEP!"

Robo-Gorilla "Ook?"



Mini-Spike: "Oh well, close enough. So, Frodo, how'd you lose the finger?"

Robo-Gorilla "Slow learner."

Voodoo Gunn: "Huh?"



Suddenly there's a simulated thunder storm in the restaurant, and all the robotic animals go wild. Robo-Gorilla starts ramming the stump of her finger into her own knee.

Robo-Gorilla "Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow."

Suddenly Robo-Gorilla's arm shoots backwards, backhanding Voodoo Gunn and sending him flying.

Voodoo Gunn: "AAAAAAAH!"

Mini-Spike: "Gunn! Gunn! Where'd you go?"



Voodoo Gunn: "Um, Spike?"



Mini-Spike: "Gunn! Where are you?"



Voodoo Gunn: "Spike?"



Mini-Spike: "Excuse me, ladies, have you seen my friend around?"



Voodoo Gunn: "Spike!!"



Mini-Spike: "How 'bout you? Voodoo doll of a lawyer, about one foot tall. Seen him?"

Robo-Baby Elephant: "You should ask my daddy."



Voodoo Gunn: "SPIKE!!! HELP!!!!"



Mini-Spike: "Okay, if you were a bloke my size who's prone to getting in trouble, where would be the worst place you could be?"

Robo-Elephant: "Hmm. I wouldn't want to be in the alligator pit."

Mini-Spike: "Right. He's buggered. Thanks."



Voodoo Gunn: "SPIKE!!!!!"



Mini-Spike swoops in and rescues Gunn and takes him to the restroom to check for damage.

Mini-Spike: "What the...? Why is it that no matter what city we're in, we always manage to find ourselves in the sodding women's room?"



Mini-Spike: "Though I like the way the double mirrors makes it look like there's an infinite number of... well, you at least."

Voodoo Gunn: "Okay, I get why you don't reflect, but why doesn't the monkey have a reflection?"

Mini-Spike: "Huh. Don't know. Must be a monkey thing."

Sock Buttmonkey: "Grr Eeep?"



The guys get souvenirs of their visit.

Mini-Spike: "Though I never did get to play a single bleedin' game. Oh well, at least we got the Vespa."



Mini-Spike and Voodoo Gunn presents the Vespa to their Sideshow doll friends. Angel shows his gratitude while Spike examines the scooter.



Then it's time for a little road testing.

Mini-Spike: "I think they like it."

Sock Buttmonkey: "Eeep!"

From a technical standpoint, I'm really impressed with the ones that have VDGunn reflecting but not the others . . . but they're all great! Love Spike and Angel on the Vespa . . .
