I don't know if anyone else noticed these but I did when watching the episode on my S5 boxset.

Angel and Spikes Astronaught vs Cavemen argument.
Poor Fred was the astronaught who was vicously clubbed and beaten to death by Illyriua a ancient demon who destroyed her body and soul durring resurection.

Secondly Wesley read from the book "A Little Princess".
Wel that had to be Fred didn't it ?. Fred was the sweet smart girl who after Cordelia was lost to a coma then death became the "heart" of AI . Which was why the gang was so devastated to lose her.All things considered she should have stayed in Texas.

Fred as the "Little Princess"? Wasn't she too old for such an analogy? That scene between her and Wes seemed to smack of incest . . . if you know what I mean.

I never bought that Fred became the "heart of AI" after Cordelia. Never.

I am confused, can you explain that rosie?

I didn't buy her as being the heart either, however I did find it devestating when she died.

...but I think I missed something too. Fred was absolutely the heart at least for a brief time between Cordy's death and hers. Cordy was the real heart, I agree with that, but after she died, Fred was the closest one to a heart there.

I keep forgetting that Cordy was gone after the end of S4. Anyway, I disagree, I thought Fred did become the heart after Cordy lapsed into her coma at the end of S4.

I'm not dissing anyone's opinion, just curious, because I enjoy this type of thing, finding out why other people feel the way they do about different things. Diversity is fun :)

I meant that Wes tended to treat Fred as his young daughter, toward whom he harbored romantic and sexual feelings.
