Subject: Newbie question

I am rather new to the Buffy and Angel series and have only watched half of Buffy season 1 on dvd. The question I have is at what point/season of Buffy can I start to watch Angel so that I don't spoil any surprises that may be coming in the Buffy series. Thanks for help for a newbie.

Angel began at the same time as Buffy Season 4. So watch all three High School years, seasons 1-3, before starting with Angel.

Head on over to the Angel Spoiler board for more fun.

And AC is right. Start watching when it gets to Buffy Season Four. Also, they tie in together for the first couple of years.
