At the hospital, Veggie arrives for her shift. One of the other doctors, Jaymzangel, tells Veggie that she's early for her shift. Veggie tells her that the wedding was a bust, and that she needed to get away. Jaymzangel asked her what happened, but Veggie says she'd rather not talk about it. She is about to walk in to the doctor's lounge, when the double doors from the ambulance bay crash open, and in come's ABM on a stretcher. Veggie rushes over with Jaymzangel, and Veggie asks what happened. One of the paramedics tells her that there was an explosion over at Caritas, and that there's two more bodies coming in behind them. Jaymzangel tells Veggie to stay with ABM, she'll get one of the others. Just then, a nurse calls out from behind the desk that they found another body. Veggie calls out that they're gonna need the OR consult asap, and as Veggie rushes with ABM into one of the Trauma rooms, the nurse calls up to the OR.

At Eury's house, she is laying on her bed, crying. In her hands, she's holding a picture of herself and Kali, from a few years ago. Downstairs, she hears the door open and close, and RJA calls out to her. She doesn't answer. He comes trapsing up the stairs, and calls out for her again, as he walks into her room. He looks at her laying on the bed, and asks her if she's just gonna ignore him now. Eury says that that was the plan, and she was doing just fine with it before he got here. RJA comes over, and sits on the bed next to her. He takes the photo out of Eury's hand, and looks at it. After a moment, he apologises. He says that he's sorry for ruining things between the girls. He puts the photo on the bedside table, and goes to leave. Eury calls out to him, asking him to stay. He turns back to her, and asks her why. She tells him that she's just as much to blame as he is, she could've - should've - ended it at any moment, but she didn't. RJA asks if that means he's not wholly to blame anymore. Eury says that no, he isn't. After a moment, she says that the majority of the blame is his, but a small part of it is hers. RJA smiles, and Eury asks if RJA could hold her. He looks at her for a moment, then walks over to the bed, and lays down behind RJA, holding her close to him.

Over at the hospital, Jaymzangel is in a Trauma room with Dandy. Veggie comes in, and tells Jaymzangel that she's free to help, ABM's been taken up to the OR. She asks what needs doing, and Jaymzangel says that she's OK, but they've only got the R2's with Morgain. Veggie groans, and rushes into the next Trauma room to assist. She asks one of the R2's what Morgain's stats are, and he stammers, unsure of himself. Veggie rolls her eyes, and asks one of the nurses. She tells the R2 who stuttered to go help Jaymzangel, and then glares at the other one, telling him to start ventilating. Morgain comes to, suddenly, coughing up a bit of blood. Veggie tells her to lay back, telling her that everything will be OK. She asks Morgain what happened, and Morgain manages to whisper out Wolfram's name. Veggie asks her what Wolfram's got to do with this, and one of the nurses says that he was there too, and that according to the paramedic she spoke to, he didn't make it. Veggie looks upset for a moment, but continues to work on Morgain.

Back at Salty's, she storms into her house, followed by Crumpet. Crumpet is pleading with Salty to listen to her, that she can explain. Salty says she doesn't want to hear another word about it, but Crumpet tries to get in her way, saying that they should talk about this. Salty stands still, fuming, as Crumpet apologises. She says that she's sorry she eavesdropped on their conversation, but she couldn't help it. She'd only come round to see how things were, and the back door was open, and she couldn't help but overhear what LB was saying. Salty is disgusted, saying that usually when people just drop by, they use the front door. And they knock first. Crumpet whimpers, saying that she didn't think Salty would mind. The two women are silent for a moment, and Crumpet repeats that she's really very sorry. Salty eventually concedes, merely saying that she wishes Crumpet had told her that she'd overheard the news. Crumpet asks if they're OK, and Salty smiles, saying that they are. Crumpet is happy, and hugs Salty. When they pull apart, Crumpet leans in to kiss her, but Salty pulls away. She asks Crumpet what she's doing, and Crumpet feigns confusion, and begins to say that she thought that was what was happening, but Salty cuts her off, saying that just because LB's out of the picture, doesn't mean Crumpet's in. She tells Crumpet to just go, and she leaves, dejected.

Over at Oracle's flat, he opens the door to see LB standing there. She barges her way in, saying that they have to talk about the baby. Oracle sarcastically invites her in, and shuts the door. He follows her into the living room, and asks her what the problem is. He figured that she would just have an abortion and be done with it. LB looks at him in shock, asking him why he would assume that. Oracle shrugs, and sits down. She calms down, and says that they need to discuss the parental issue. Seeing as it's his fault that she's pregnant, LB demands that Oracle provide for the child too. Oracle is flabbergasted, asking her how she figures it's his fault she's pregnant. LB states matter-of-factly that he couldn't have been wearing protection if she's in this state, and moves on. But Oracle interrupts her, saying it's just as much her fault, shouldn't she have been on the pill or something. LB gets testy again, saying that she's a lesbian, and that she generally doesn't have to worry about possible impregnation. They sit in silence for a minute, then LB concedes that Oracle may have been wearing a condom, after all they're only 97% safe. Oracle says that yeh, he might've been, and LB looks at him, confused. She asks him what he means by that, that he "might've been"? Oracle quietly says that he can't exactly remember, his mind's a blank for that night. He says that he can't remember what happened after they went into her bedroom, and that the next thing he remembers is waking up. LB stares at him, and after a moment's silence, tells him that that's all she remembers too. Oracle tells her that it must've been some pretty strong liquor they drank, but LB says that she doesn't have any liquor in her house, no alcohol other than wine. Oracle asks her what that means, and LB says she isn't sure, but it definetly means things aren't normal.

At the hospital, ABM wakes up. He's in a room, in a bed, on his own. He slowly looks around, and realises he's in a recovery unit. He pulls up his blanket, and looks down at his chest, which is littered with fresh stitches. He reaches up to tough his head, and feels a huge lump on his forehead. A voice speaks to him from the corner, saying that it was a pretty hefty explosion. ABM looks over, and sees {mikeyg} leaning against the corner of the wall, hands in his pocket. He walks over to ABM, and asks how he feels. ABM slowly says that he feels like he's been in an explosion, then asks {mikeyg} how he's there. {mikeyg} just smiles, and tells ABM that he didn't expect it to be like this. ABM asks what he means, and {mikeyg} tells him that he thought death would be different. More ethereal and floaty-like. ABM laughs, then clutches his side in pain. {mikeyg} reaches down, and brushes ABM's hair to the side. He says that he came back to say thank you. ABM asks what he means, and {mikeyg} says that he couldn't leave without saying it. {mikeyg} tells ABM that he's always been there, protecting him, helping him, and that the explosion was his turn to do the same. ABM tells him that he didn't have to, that he never has to repay a favour, that they're brothers. {mikeyg} says that he knows he didn't have to, but he wanted to. ABM was always looking out for him - and now it's {mikeyg}'s turn to do the same. With that, he reaches down, and puts his hand on ABM's chest. ABM gasps, but after a second he relaxes, as {mikeyg} pulls away. ABM asks what he did, and {mikeyg} just smiles, saying that he did what he could. He tells his baby brother to sleep well, and ABM jokingly asks what he means by "baby", and {mikeyg} replies that he's a whole two minutes older than ABM. He walks toward the door, and as he does so, he turns back to ABM, saying that he'll be watching, and then he leaves. ABM watches the door, just as AngelX walks in. She comes over, and asks him how he is. ABM comes out of the reverie, and turns to AngelX, saying that he feels great. AngelX sits down, and asks him what happened. ABM says he's not entirely sure, but Wolfram went all kamikaze on them. AngelX closes her eyes when he says Wolfram's name, and ABM asks what's the matter. She gulps, then tells him that Wolfram didn't make it. ABM bites his lip, trying to hold back the tears. AngelX says that she assumed ABM already knew about {mikeyg}, but that he'd wanna know about Wolfram too. He thanks her, then asks what she was doing here. She says she came to visit Shrub after the wedding, and she bumped into Veggie after ABM had been taken up to the OR. The camera pans out, as ABM asks about the wedding, and we hear AngelX tell him not to ask, it was far too "Melrose Place"...
