Character Name: Meira Shakira

Personality: Meira is sensitive towards others, as shes always trying to make up for the harm shes done. She can be moody and short-tempered and is always very unpredictable. At times shes carefree, then at others shes completely serious. She is mysterious and learns quickly. She can be a blend of opposite traits; outgoing and laid back, and shy and assertive. Meira is also drawn to psychology, astrology, fortune telling, and is spiritual.
Appearance: She has long silver hair put up in a pony-tail with a thin silver chain. She has various braids hanging down from her pony-tail. Her eyes are light green, and she is 57. She wears a black shirt, a pair of black pants, and dark brown boots that go up to mid-calf. She wears a pair of black gloves that go half way up her arm and a dark brown jacket down to her waste.
Background: Meiras parents had been experts with witchcraft, and theyd told her a few of the simpler spells for fighting and self-defense. But at the age of ten, she became extremely ill. Her parents tried everything to save her. And when they had gone off in search of help, she began looking through spell books, trying to find a cure. It all came down to one. A spell that required summoning a demons spirit. She cast the spell on herself, something shed regret for the rest of her life. The spell and potion that she made, cured her of the illness, but when she was thirteen, the demons spirit came back looking for her to return the favour it had warned her of. Not realizing before that it had evil intentions, she accepted, and it entered her own body, possessing her. The spirit used her whenever it pleased, wreaking its evil on her soul. And when it forced her to attack her parents, she nearly killed them. When she realized what shed done, she ran away from home, deciding it was the only way to save the ones she loved from the demon inside her. She was always on the run, constantly trying to learn to control the demon, to stop it from hurting others, and even herself. She gained some control over it after practicing in psychic abilities, but it did very little. And as she continued on with her life, she continuously searched for a way to extract the demon from her soul.
Weapons/Powers: Sais with leather wrapped handles, some psychic ability, although limited, and a few spells such as attacks and defences.
