Subject: Raleigh Hotel

My husband Dave remembers the Raleigh when it was still called Rattners. He was there from 46 to 53 for the first two weeks of July.Used to get there from the Bronx by crossing the GW Bridge to Route 4 into Rte 17. Used to have to get off at Wurtsboro Hills and walk because the car couldn't make the hill but IT WAS A BLAST...We spent the summers of 1972 to 1987 working at Kutsher's Camp Anawana in Monticello which was owned by Milton Kutsher of Kutsher's Country Club...
Also remember Schenk's Paramount from the mid fifties .
Catskills brings GREAT memories...
