We were B-17 and my big brother Marshall used to wake us each morning to the sounds of "the little white duck" his voice booming through the horseshoe "Rhoda Rinder, Rhoda Rinda, telephone for Rhoda Rinder". Dad played Tevye at the casino with Sid Banner and Arther Zeven, dad's 88 and lives with me and my family in upstate N.Y. Each time I visit an old fashioned luncheonette with its aroma of pipe tobacco and fountain soda (I guess that's the combination)my mind flies back to a building not far from Tot-Town with a pepsi machine out front. It's funny how clear the images are still in my mind some 35 years later.
