contact paul brown and his sister who lives all the way in georgia. they are the ones who are in charge of the so-called great website. now you understand why its never updated or has any relevant info on it. a "USA" girl means nothing...guess its nice to see them coming over the our side and raising money for the CMN to compete. As of right now, I can tell you right now that none of those girls will become MissNY. Just isn't happening. Unless NY can't do any better, it'll probably be Claire with the crown. [Edit]	Date Posted: 04:31:15 01/31/10 Sun I sat with my "pageant" friends watching the Miss America Pageant with discust and embarressment for the way the non finalists were herded off like in project runway to sit in their street clothes, humiliated, watching the rest of the victums to fall short and be sent to the reject pile. Many of the nonfinalist had to turn away from the camera's- finding it hard to clap or sit in their street clothes. They should of made them have their role away bags and suit cases on stage also. Allowing them to sit in front of that huge audiance stretching was tacky-before talent..I don't know who the National Level producer is but they need to sit back and watch that presentation and ask themself if they would want their daughter put through that. "Miss America" is what every little girl dreams of becoming -right???? Not when you get put on stage after working so hard to be humiliated like that. All those young women diserve an apology for being demeaned on public television and being treated like a piece of meat. I alway wanted my daughter to participate in this organization- NOT ANYMORE! The "Back stage Show" that was on prior was sad. As they watched the girls they spoke about how their boobs were moving (jigglers and non-jigglers). It was rude. We wouldn't let our husbands talk like that. I don't have such a big problem with the girls sitting on stage but I do see what you are saying. My biggest problem is letting 3 girls be picked by the public. The judges know they girls, abilities, platforms, education, and so much more than anybody who watched tonight. Why even have points? Like how she hand picked the judges, had non-traveling contestants stay over at her house the night before to help them "prepare" and on more than one occasion has had contestants crash at her house after partying with her because they were too drunk to do anything else. Should this lady really be allowed to participate in the organization? I truly believe in her as Miss New York, but I think she'd be terrible Miss America and it's solely because she's not "smart" enough to be relatable. I understand that not everyone in America is "smart" but I think there's a difference between being "smart" and being "captivating' and to be Miss America, you need both. Although Alyse might be "relatable," I don't find her particularly captivating. I think she'd make a great Miss USA, a great Miss New York (although, let's face it...how many parades can one be in), she's simply a smart girl with little intellect. I also think the NY board did a fantastic job in prepping her and making her "different" but when it comes down to it, the best person suited for the job isn't Alyse. I've loved MS, AR, and NJ because they seem genuine, not one that wants to further their career but one that wants to fulfill the job of Miss America and those wondrous 4 points.
