We heard from a friend that theres a lot of negative feedback regarding our representative Kipp Glass. Manhunt USA West franchise was offered to us because last years franchise owners didnt pay their franchise fee. We accepted the offer and thought of doing a local pageant. It was offered late last year. Due to lack of preparations, we just decided to do an open call and pick one to represent USA West. We got Travis Kraft who is a very hot guy from LA. His photo was already up on the manhunt website when last week of December we got an email from Alex that they're moving the pageant from January to Feabruary 5-10. The venue wasnt ready for a January pageant. Travis Kraft happened to have some prior engagement. Trust me, we did everything that we can do to send him. It's just that he got a bigger and better gig here in the US. Last minute, we emailed, faxed, and mailed offers to tons of modeling agencys. We sent emails randomly to profiles that we can find online. Unfortuantely, it's NY's Fashion Week. None of NY's guys will take the offer. Most of the LA and SF guys are flying to NY for the same gig. Agencys turned the offer down because it was last minute. Day before deadline to decide if we got USA or not(USA West became USA alone because USA East is not sending anyone), Kipp Glass responded to us and showed interest. He may not be the best looking guy in the US but the fact that he gave his trust to us matters. We are sending this guys without any sponsors at all. It's all from our pocket. We would like to apologize to those people who are not happy. We may have done a pathetic job, but hey we did our very best. One thing we can promise though is that next year will be better. And for those people can maybe help us out, then please let us know. It will be our first time so please bear with us. Again, we're SORRY. Kipp may not win the title but Im sure he'll do a great job. Thanks.

[> Subject: Let us pray that all the bad vibes surrounding Manhunt USA will NOT affect his confidence & self-esteem during the pageant! He is clearly NOT to blame for being in this 'hot'soup' and certainly not in a comfortable position for any pre-pageant preparation! WELCOME to the REAL & HARD male pageant world, Kipp! The fans, pundits & aficionados of this scene take their major pageants to heart and rather seriously! So please bear with them and try not to take it too personal! Hang tough, dude!

[> [> Subject: I agree... can't blame Kip Glass. However, I was wondering why they didn't send Chaka Sedgwick, the current Mr. USA International instead! He's hot, and he could easily be in top 5!

[> [> [> Subject: *Dear Alex Liu, do us all a BIG,BIG, favor. Get a NEW and COMPETENT & CREDIBLE franchise holder for the good ol' USA, please!...AND avoid the situation you're in today. There are lots of reputable modeling & talent agencies willing (and able) to send a candidate to the MANHUNT Pageant! *UCLA, Venice Beach, Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, San Diego, etc, etc. are full of suitable guys good enough to be MANHUNT INTERNATIONAL! This Kipp Glass is nowhere near any of them!
