For me, the sticking point is whether or not the team in question is still wearing the same basic uniforms they did before 1975 or whenever colored masks became commonplace. In other words, if the Packers switched to grey masks (which I wish they would've done when they went back to black shoes), I wouldn't have a problem with it. On the other hand, I absolutely HATE the Cardinals using grey masks with their ultra-modern uniforms. Obviously they should use red, but even black would be an upgrade from the grey.

don't think a gray mask looks good on yellow gold helmet like green bay.
