Actually the stripe pattern was purple, thin white, gold, thin white, purple.

Both were very sharp to see. AND they were the actual team colours.

The Baylor helmet in the bowl game was slightly different than their green helmet from a few years ago; on that one, the BU logo was white, with a thin green stripe, surrounded by a gold stripe. In the Alamo Bowl, there was no green stripe between the white and gold. It was just white with the gold outline, so it should be a new helmet version.
