I apologize for not adding anything to the web site recently - I have been attempting to deal with a rather bad virus infection on my computer, which is still not clean.
Hopefully I will be able to work on the site again within a few days.

Don't worry, the content is good to hold me over for awhile. You do so much work for us Charles, I love it!

Hopefully you get it all cleaned up soon. I was just wondering why the lower half of the thread list and of longer threads is yellow? Or am I the only one seeing this? It's been that way for a few weeks.

Sorry, still dealing with the computer problems here. I see that some interesting things have been reported during my absence!
I believe that the virus is gone, but I am still having some problems with the machine. Trying to decide whether to get a new one, or fix the old one and get another year of use from it.
any updates on when this site might be operational again? i miss the helmet updates! thanks.

I am sorry that I missed your earlier message - it has been almost impossible for me to access the internet for more than six weeks now due to a computer problem that I have been unable to diagnose. It seems that every possible thing that could go wrong has done so, but I will spare you the boring details. A new computer has been purchased but I have not been able to access the internet with it, either, for different reasons.
If I have some luck (for a change), my ability to access the internet should essentially be restored tomorrow.
Thanks to everyone for your patience and your continued interest in the web site, and I can assure you that my interest in maintaining and adding to the site remains high.

That's good to hear. If you don't get a good picture of the Albany Firebirds helmet, I'll be getting one for you in late June when they visit Milwaukee. I'm hoping the Iron picture I posted will be sufficient. If not, please let me know and I'll try for some more.

i got a virus a couple of months ago. it was preventing me from updating windows, i had to do a complete reinstallation back to the factory specs. it was hell to get it back, especially downloading 5 years of updates from MS
