Thank you for the point of view from the fans of the blue. When you put in the terms of the field, I can understand it a little bit. I follow U of New Haven and they will be bringing the team back this year and have put in a blue turf in hopes of gaining some press.

I guess I fall back to the stance that do teams like Penn St or USC or Michigan or Texas need to bring attention to the team based upon stunts like new unis every year.

I also question the sanity of a person going to Oregon because they have so many changes. I am likely off with the exact number, but I think one story stated that they have 248 combinations to choose from. At twelve games a season, how many years will it take to go through each comination once?

And about Boise St: I started following them after meeting some players and fans when they when they played Wisconsin a few years ago. Those were some of the nicest people and greatest players to come across. Those fans should be proud of what that school and state are all about and leave the blue turf as simply something for ESPN to carry on about as they do while the rest of us pay attention to the game.

as a boise state fan thanks for the good words (hard to believe the few years back you mention that we played you is about 13 years now though). i would have to say the same about oregon fans. i went to the bsu oregon game last year in eugene and oregon has the smartest nicest fans ive ever seen. we just beat them and not a one was bitter because of how good of a game it was
