Northwestern is wearing black helmets with the best way I can describe it being a Boise State type logo with a huge silver wildcat head, but on both sides of the helmet.

Also, tough to see from that picture, but I believe there was something like a silver lightning bolt underneath the logo on both sides. Not 100% positive though.

It looks like a lightning bolt, but I think it's actually part of the Wildcat logo:

I saw that picture too and agree with you. No idea what it's supposed to represent though!
