[> Potato and Boca Raton -- Nameless, 15:56:15 12/23/15 Wed (173.9.211.149)

Both Mid-American Conference schools won their respective bowl matchups yesterday: Akron (H) knocked out Utah State (A) in Boise State's blue field, and Toledo (I) edged Temple (M) to cap off a ten-win season for the Rockets

Mr. Arey, your 2015 order for Toledo is currently missing the first game (A), so it should read as ANA-IAO-IIO-IAP-I.

I believe he left it out since the game never finished and was officially cancelled. I too believe it should be listed as well as Stony Brook's, because the game had started and we know what they were wearing.

12/23 Mobile, Alabama: Georgia Southern (A) defeated Bowling Green (A)
12/24 Bahamas: Western Michigan (D) defeated Middle Tennessee (B)
12/24 Hawaii: San Diego State (A) defeated Cincinnati (G)
12/26 Saint Petersburg: Marshall (A) defeated Connecticut (D)

Five more bowls are ongoing for 12/26, and they will come on the next update.

Actually, Middle Tennessee wore a new helmet. It was white with a blue mask, single blue stripe, with checkerboard pattern (two tone blue) and their regular logo with a white horse, and a grey outline on the MT and the checker board design on the MT.

Thank you for the correction; that helmet is now designated as “I”. This should come as no surprise that this year's Bahamas Bowl featured the two teams that have provided the most non-Oregon problems with their alternate helmets.

12/26 Heart of Dallas: Washington (A) defeated Southern Mississippi (B)
12/26 Pinstripe: Duke (G=the “1966-1969” helmets with a blue stripe and chrome blue mask, http://www.goduke.com/PhotoAlbum.dbml?PALBID=1726559&DB_OEM_ID=4200) defeated Indiana (C)

I do not mean to pick, but Tulsa also had a new helmet. White with chrome mask and regular logo with no stripe. I made the same mistake until half way through the game.

Thanks again; either I am losing my touch, or this college football season has gotten too long. The aforementioned Tulsa changes have made it as “H”.

Yes, it has become long. I have had to resort to a shell-facemask-stripe-logo look and then again, since I was missing things too. You see something, which is so close to something you have seen, and it is easy to assume it is the same.

[> Military and Quick Lane -- Nameless, 10:49:37 12/29/15 Tue (173.9.211.149)

On games played on 12/28, the Naval Academy (with their seven ship designs) edged out Pittsburgh (B), while Minnesota (B) beat Central Michigan (B) in Detroit.

With Minnesota's victory, all three 5-7 teams have won their bowl games.

[> 12/29 -- Nameless, 15:24:03 12/30/15 Wed (173.9.211.149)

Here are the results of the four 12/29 bowls:

Armed Forces: California (A) defeated Air Force (G)
Russell: Baylor (G) defeated North Carolina (M)
Arizona: Nevada (A) defeated Colorado State (A)
Texas: Louisiana State (A) defeated Texas Tech (L)

This year's Arizona Bowl was the first non-championship bowl since the 1979 Orange Bowl to feature two teams from the same conference.

[> Birmingham and Belk -- Nameless, 21:11:56 12/30/15 Wed (173.9.211.149)

So far the Southeastern Conference is 3-0.

The Tigerland duel in Birmingham had Auburn (A) defeat Memphis donning a new helmet (I=black matte shell, blue Bengals stripes, blue chrome mask, http://www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/d1a6c2c777cac6dfa0e4e56a515d56cf3d71a623/c=0-151-2400-1507&r=x329&c=580x326/local/-/media/2015/12/30/Montgomery/Montgomery/635870806359518148-123015AuburnVsMemphisBirminghamBowl28.jpg), while over in Charlotte, Mississippi State (D) bested North Carolina State (H).

The next update will not be until 1/2 or later. Happy new year 2016!

[> 12/30, 12/31, and 1/1 -- Nameless, 10:28:16 01/02/16 Sat (173.9.211.149)

The next ten bowl games have concluded, including most of the primary bowls, with only one new alteration:

12/30 Music City: Louisville (B) defeated Texas A&M (B)
12/30 Holiday: Wisconsin (A) defeated Southern California (A)
12/31 Peach: Houston (B) defeated Florida State (A)
12/31 Cotton: Alabama (A) defeated Michigan State (A)
12/31 Orange: Clemson (A) defeated Oklahoma (A)
1/1 Outback: Tennessee (A) defeated Northwestern (A1=white numerals on the right side of “A”, http://www.nusports.com/galleries/?gallery=1263)
1/1 Citrus: Michigan (A) defeated Florida (A)
1/1 Fiesta: Ohio State (A) defeated Notre Dame (A)
1/1 Rose: Stanford (B) defeated Iowa (A)
1/1 Sugar: Mississippi (B) defeated Oklahoma State (C)

Alabama and Clemson, as the victors of the College Football Playoff semifinals, will each have one more helmet left to track for this year (though likely they are both going to be their normal helmets).

[> 1/2 -- Nameless, 14:55:42 01/03/16 Sun (173.9.211.149)

There you have it. Thirteen designs in thirteen games. The craziness of the relationship between Nike and the Oregon Ducks’ uniforms knows no bounds.

Gator: Georgia (A) defeated Penn State (A)
Liberty: Arkansas (B=“A” with chrome shell and mask, http://i.imgur.com/RgEjl6u.jpg and http://www.arkansasrazorbacks.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Arkansas-vs.-KSU-7378.jpg) defeated Kansas State (A)
Alamo: Texas Christian (P) defeated Oregon (AF=glitter white shell, beveled green “O”, no stripe, white mask, https://scontent.fsnc1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xtp1/v/t1.0-9/5284_10153903926449706_2069000929312390954_n.jpg?oh=f38c99694d6c79d256f4c13e279bec2a&oe=570B0248)
Cactus: West Virginia (A) defeated Arizona State (Q=“D” with a burgundy fork, http://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townnews.com/godanriver.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/d/3f/d3fbc860-9338-5b89-81b6-b22713becb0f/5688d88c14404.image.jpg)

These should be the final alternate helmets left of the season, with the National Championship Game left on 1/11 with two traditional helmets expected to appear.

Charles already has a "B" and a "C" for Arkansas. The next new would then be "D". He has also designated Oregon with an "AE" where you have "X1" and "AF" where you have "AE" This would make the bowl helmet "AG". And the ASU pitchfork looks more black, and the link you put up is dead.

[> Re: 1/2 corrections -- Nameless, 20:37:11 01/04/16 Mon (50.73.100.10)

Re: Arkansas: All right, the chrome helmet will now be “D” under ordinary circumstances, but since that is the only new helmet for the Razorbacks this season, it is more likely the new helmet will just have “January 2, 2016” beneath it. It's all up to Mr. Arey though.

Re: Oregon: Changes have been noted. Still, thirteen helmets in thirteen games is the absolute nadir possible.

Re: Arizona State: The link works for me. The last closed bracket has to be removed before you can see the picture (many of the links I posted appear like that for some reason). And upon closer inspection, you are right, it is a black fork and not burgundy.

This was a nightmare, and with only 2 games left for the year, I am glad the madness is over. I wish the NCAA would pull the NFL's 1 helmet rule, it might cut things down a bit. After the headaches, I do not think I will attempt this next year. I am too old for this crap. Great job Nameless, I applaud your determination for taking this on.

[> 1/11: National Championship Game -- Nameless, 20:59:26 01/11/16 Mon (173.9.211.149)

The final game to close out the 2015 FBS season saw Clemson and Alabama in their usual helmets. The outcome of the National Championship is still in the air as of this writing.

Tomorrow I will post the final orders for the 128 FBS teams and congratulate the victor of tonight's game. This will be in a separate thread.
