Subject: 6 News Teams For 2016, And One Moving Up From Junior College

Morthland College NCCAA
University of Fort Lauderdale (TRACS) NCCAA?

Both could be gunning for NAIA next year.

Cincinnati Christian NAIA
Davenport NAIA, D2
Texas_permian Basin D2
West Florida D2

Dean College is moving up from the Junior College ranks this year, and will join ECFC for the 2017 season at the D3 level.

Is Fort Lauderdale a "real" school? I didn't see its name on that list of NCAA "uncountable opponents", but I still have the impression that it's one of those marginal schools.

Morthland at least finally put up a schedule with a few NAIA and NCAA opponents (plus some JV and club teams and some dubious opponents).

University of Fort Lauderdale is listed in TRACS which means they are legit. They have been around since the 1990s. They just recently started to add sports. They do have some games with some NAIA schools in Florida, but
they do have College of Faith listed as a game. They are in a better position to join the NAIA than College of Faith will ever be.
