Subject: Helmet Roundup

Couple of things I noticed that weren't on here yet:
Virginia Tech used their Sept. 17 helmet vs. Wake Forest
Idaho went back to their I logo on their helmets
Iowa was using a small ANF decal located above the hawkeye but below the stripe. The University of Iowa website says it was ANF Day at Kinnick Stadium yesterday.

also oregon went with the carbon again and arizona state went with the maroons.

Iowa has had that ANF sticker for about 3 years now.

Noticed that Vandy was wearing the black helmets again vs. Georgia (saw that on ESPNU clip this evening).

Also, Tulsa changed their red helmet stripes to pink against UAB.

This past week:
South Florida used C
Oklahoma State used A
BC used Stained Glass
VT used same helmet as last week
Oregon used B
Maryland debuted their turtle shell helmets (A)
East Carolina is still using the skull
Louisiana-Lafayette used their red helmets
Houston appeared to go back to a 79-86 helmet
Vandy used their black helmets
Tulsa used what appeared to be a light blue with dots of an even lighter blue.
Rice used their pink decals
Southern Miss did not use their decal; they just had the numbers on one side and the other side completely blank
Washington State used their crimson helmet
TCU used their current helmet, but with the frog logo rather than just the TCU

I think the Houston one is actually the 95-97 with stripes added.

It looks to me like a new 'HU' decal that is similar to the 95-97 version (thicker letters, definite bevels on the 'U', no delineation at the overlaps) but without the blue outlines + the 66-86 stripes
