No, USA's games versus other Sun Belt teams will not count as conference games. They will be an OOC opponent for the other Belt teams. Much like Western Kentucky in their final transitional year.

WRONG. Read the Sun Belt Conference's Press Release. It states that USA will play a full conference schedule and although they are not eligible to win the conference title, the results WILL count for the other Sun Belt members. Otherwise, the SBC would only have a 7 game conference schedule instead of the traditional 8.

Care to provide a link to said press release? Last I saw, from USA themselves, they would not count. But things do change, so if you can provide the link, I would appreciate it.

It could be that they are already in a BCS conference with all other sports, and that they have been a member for some time.
