I thought this looked suspicious. I think it's something somebody just dreamed up.

Why would the Toledo Blade run such a misleading story?

The owner of the Toledo Walleye hockey team was the owner of the Bullfrogs. The pictures were posted on the Walleye Facebook page asking "What if... we dusted off some designs from 2008 to bring these Toledo Bullfrogs uniforms to life. 🐸🏈"
I believe Dan Royer, the guy who designs the Walleye logo and all the alternate jerseys the team wears, created these Bullfrog uniforms. When he posted it on Twitter he posted it like these were the actual uniforms.
When I asked the Walleye Facebook page said they were just concepts.
