Finally I found a decent photograph of the 1974 helmet which I think will enable me to add that one to the website:

The "S" is clearly italic and a bit different in shape from the one shown at sportlogos.net and other places.

your recent addition for Charlotte Hornets (black helmet white C) should be 1974 not 1975
