The antlers are gone after one year, with the green "EE" returning to the side of the helmets (still gold shell and green facemask, but now with a green stripe outlined in white down the middle).

the facemask is actually black and was last season's antler's I guess https://news.sportslogos.net/2022/03/03/cfls-edmonton-elks-shed-antlers-after-1-season-bring-back-double-e-logo-on-helmets/football/

Are you sure? It appears to me that there is a facemask color difference between the Elks helmet and the Stampeders helmet in this photograph:

the one with the antlers seems like black to me the one with the elk logo does looks green

the link includes a photo of the helmet that sure looks like it is black at least there
