Subject: NCAAF - ACC - Virginia Cavaliers -2022 Updates & 2020-21 Corrections

In 2020, the Virginia Cavaliers unveiled a new logo. It is the V-Sabres logo, but with two significant alterations: (1) the swords are shortened and (2) the V has a bevel in it.

NEW LOGOS:

In both images with logo comparisons, the NEW logo is on the left.

After this update, there was another change immediately made. The curves on the sword handles were removed. So the "new" NEW logos for the UVA helmets (2020 and beyond) look like this:

"NEW" NEW LOGOS:

In the 2020-21 and 2021-22 season, UVA used the "new" new logos on the right side of the hemet and a numeric font on the left side. That font is correctly depicted by The Helmet Project.

For the 2022-23 season, the Virginia Cavaliers have removed the numbers from the left side of the helmet. The blue helmet and white helmet will each now have the V-Sabres logo on both sides of the helmet. Source:
