It would be interesting to compare those stats to some years in past decades. White was probably far more common then; same for stripes and basic colors like red. It would also be interesting to go back to, say, 1980 and run stats on how many schools used logos that were identical to other schools or pro teams (I assume just for cost savings or a lack of creativity or interest in doing something novel for their team). It wasn't uncommon back then for things like the Philadelphia Eagles' wings or Georgia's G to show up, sometimes in different colors, on other teams' helmets.
