Subject: Portland State white helmets

Today Portland State is wearing white helmets vs Montana State. They are white shells, with dark green face masks, and a green viking logo on both sides.

In fact they look just like the 1999 - 2001 PSU helmets.

One more note; the Quarterback has a single green strip on his helmet, no one else has it. And all players have a rose decal an the back of the helmet.

Again notice how the QB's helmet has a stripe.

I wonder if the stripe was put on the helmet during the week to identify the quarterback; we've heard about some teams doing that. And then maybe it was just not taken off before the game??
