Subject: update, July 22, 2014

I completed moving some time ago but do not have internet access from my new address. There are apparently only two providers in my area - one is a small company about which I know little, but the reviews I have seen of their service are generally unfavorable.

The other, unfortunately, is Comcast, which has been in the news lately for having been named "Worst Company in America" for a second time by Consumerist. As Comcast is presently attempting to merge with Time Warner - thereby further reducing options for consumers - I am extremely reluctant to do any business with that company. Nearly everyone I have talked to on the subject of internet access has advised me to avoid Comcast, but it appears that I have only one other option, which may be no better than Comcast.

I suspect that I will probably sign up with Comcast because I am finding quality of life without internet access to be greatly diminished.

Only to see if it is available. As best I can determine DirecTV does not seem to offer internet service anymore. Are there other providers, and would you recommend any? thanks!

Dish Network has it. We looked into it but DSL was faster and about the same price.

I have Comcast. Too expensive. But I think its about the fastest internet. I haven't really used customer service though.

My Aunt and Uncle live in a rural area and have home internet access through some sort of device from verizon that utilize the cell networks for access. He had satellite access before and said this is much better at a good price.

Any update on the internet provider search? Love your work and itching to see how the new season worth of helmets look.

I agree...whenever he comes back, it will be worth the wait. In the meantime, I will keep sending him updates as I see them in game action...
